Cannova's is a small place — 38 seats, right on Galena's Historic Main Street — and we like it that way. Cozy, family-run, and the spot for Galena's best pizza since 1994. It's the kind of kitchen where the red sauce simmers all day and somebody always has flour on their shirt.
We don't cut corners. Our pizza dough gets a full 24-hour cold proof before it ever hits the oven, and we bake our own bread fresh every day with real olive oil. We use the freshest ingredients we can get locally, and for the meats and cheeses we bring in the best imported ones we can find. From-scratch red sauce, De Cecco pastas, lemon crème cake made in house — the real deal, every plate.

- Big OrdersPlanning on 4 or more pizzas? Give us a heads-up ahead of time. A little notice lets us space things out so your order isn't stuck behind a rush — less waiting for you. And if you need us on a day we're normally closed, just ask — with enough notice we'll open the restaurant to fill a large order.
- Made for YouParty trays, office lunches, or a stack of take-and-bake pizzas for the freezer — our large orders are made fresh for you, your family, and your guests to enjoy at home or at your event. It's all made just for you and your table — never for resale.

How Reservations & the Waitlist Work
- ReservationsBook online or call (815) 777-3735, for parties of up to 6. We hold your table 15 minutes past your reservation time, and we happily seat walk-ins too.
- Time at Your TablePlan on about 75–90 minutes — a couple often less, a larger table a little more. On a tight schedule? Let us know when you arrive and we'll do our best to get you on your way.
- Larger Groups (7 or More)Only two of our tables seat six, so space for larger groups is very limited. Groups of seven or more are seated by advance arrangement — we aren't able to seat larger parties as walk-ins. Call, or email cannovasorderinquiry@gmail.com. And if we can't fit your group in the dining room, let us bring Cannova's to you — ask about catering.
- The WaitlistNo reservation? Join the waitlist online or in person, and we'll text you when your table's ready. Please check in within 10 minutes — your whole party needs to be present to be seated.
- At the BarThe bar is first-come, walk-in seating — a good spot for parties of 1–3. It's also our waiting area and carry-out pickup, so it can fill up on busy nights.
